COMFORT ZONE
It's okay to rest some times but...
I started learning French when I was a bit younger but, 11 years later, my French is still not fluent when I open my mouth and I still don’t understand some sentences without getting it broken down.
When upon life billows you’re tempest tossed, when you’re discouraged…
How’s the self-discovery journey going? Did you even consider it?
Today, I can’t describe my emotions but, I’ll make sure you understand what I want to say;
At what point do you realize you deserve better? When do you realize that you can do better than your current situation? When do you let go of that fear? WHEN WILL YOU LEAVE YOUR COMFORT ZONE!!! (Okay… I’m not yelling at you..)
You know, we all have this habit of doing the barest minimum, the very little that’s just enough to see us through a situation or circumstance. Now, let’s imagine that you give it your all, you do all it takes, you pull all your resources and put in your very best; oh, how sweet will it be, the excellent results and outcome but, guess what; you don’t know because you’ve not done that.
I’m very guilty of this as well and I go under the guise of “I can’t stress myself” That statement is very very valid but, not in all situations. It does not always apply, you need to know this, I need to know this. How bad do you want to become your aspiration? Reaching your goal, achieving all you want, how important is all of that to you? To make it easier, why did you choose the path you’re on? (important point; don’t let your only drive be money because you’re on to an endless path)
Ponder on this, think it through, there’s only one life and we have no other choice than to live it well, live this life very well.
I’m sure by now you’re wondering what that first line is for actually, it is a catholic hymn, and it's telling you that, the path may not be as smooth as you want it to be but then, FOCUS!!!
